Driven by a passion for the arts, Michelle Pickens created an accomplished and viable Interior Design, Art Gallery and Custom Picture Framing business in Dolores, Colorado-West Fork Gallery.

The success of West Fork Gallery transcended the recessed economy with a combination of Michelle’s artistic professionalism and the intimate relationships she built with clients. Both local and international clients repeatedly relied on Michelle’s expert consultation and top of the line product knowledge and access to fulfill their interior design needs.

Michelle created close relationships with world-class vendors, artists and manufacturers while building West Fork Gallery. These close partnerships continue today and include, but are not limited to, Jeff Policky Publishing, Toh-Atin Publishing, Larson Juhl, Mer-Trade, Stone Country Ironworks, Vance Kitira, Quorum Lighting, Feizy Leather Rugs, Copper and Stone sinks and fixtures, Danze, Old California Lighting Company, Napa Lighting and Ominia.

Michelle’s artistic passion extends to the community where she volunteers her time. Michelle has served as Chairman for the Dolores Fine Art Festival Committee, Coordinator for local school art shows, Member of Dolores Town Board, Dolores Chamber of Commerce. She also donates artwork to the local hospice organization. Her acclaim in the community drove her to be nominated and win both the 2008 and 2009 4 Corners Home & Garden Show’s Best of Home.
